Exclusive Freight Forwarding ?

Hey there, has anyone dealt with these cats yet? We're about to take a load from Exclusive Freight Forwarding and they're ponying up the rate I asked for. Haven't seen their trade references yet but want to know if anyone has had any issues. Any information is welcome. Thank you.

NPB did u ever take that load? It's been a year since anyone has posted on these guys and Cris Mihai wants to give me a shipment. Any recent thoughts?

Well it's been 2 years and nobody has anything bad to say so I'll give them a try and let you know how it goes.

Anyone have any recent dealings with these guys? Exclusive Freight Lines, Vaughan ON?

Exclusive Freight Forwarders is a division of Highlight Motor Freight, by the way ...
Duly noted, thanks. Have never dealt with either and just took a load for them. Does Highland pay the bills or do they run independently?

gave Highlight a couple of loads a few months ago and within a days an Exclusive rep visited my customer claiming they had their own trucks too much of a coincidence for me to give them anymore freight

I have heard this more than once. Scares me as we use Highlight on a couple lanes.

Thanks for the heads up, I will alert our brokerage dept. to use this carrier on selective clients only. No one likes purported back soliciting.

I'd like to point out that 'giverrr' has made only the one post (in this thread). I can't speak to bull958's friend but I will say that we have worked with Highlight on many lanes for many years with many clients who have never mentioned Exclusive Freight Forwarding attempting to solicit their business.

I believe that part of a good salesperson or team of salespeople is to ensure that all potential clients know who they are and seriously doubt that any good company (I consider Highlight to be a strong and ethical company) would use tactics like back soliciting. Those methods are followed by desperate people struggling to survive, not growing companies with strong cash flow.

My 2 cents (sometimes worth 3 cents),
Mike
