Agent with Tailgate in NY, NY

Can anyone recommend a good agent in NY, NY that can pick up a shipment with tailgate and hold for pick up? Must be good and reliable.

Thanks, I do have them as a contact. I find they are really pricey though. Pick up in NY, NY 1 skid 4x4x4 350 lbs. tailgate with a 3 hour pick up window. $325 USD. I get that it is NY and tough there but that works out to over $400 CAD.

there is always an ABF multimodale near every city in the US and most major cities in Canada. you might want to give them a try

We have been using Estes with good success but are just about to start with ABF as they are a preferred carrier with our biggest customer.

Thanks, I am a little cautious of using the "Big Boys" as I feel I don't have as much control and communication is delayed.

But you might not know that every agent is independent. They are just agents that have agreements with ABF.

we always have great communication with our loads. ABF is divided into many divisions though. Each delivery location that is an ABF dock is just an agent for ABF. I guess a little like TransForce.

Possibly, in the larger centers. Like NY,NY. We have delivered to that location and we were received very well.
