Does anybody have suggestions for good companies to work for, that pay well, that will allow pets? I've looked around a bit but it seems all the better paying companies don't allow pets. any suggestions are appreciated.

Try offering a $500.00 non refundable fee to a carrier for any damages caused and clean up when you leave them. The next driver of the unit may have allergies to pet dander, hair, etc.

I have had guys with pets before. Not a huge issue as long as the truck is kept clean. Looking for drivers also
you could pm me details if you want? but I'm guessing you're not in southern ontario or something else that won't work out?

he's in Brantford ON, they are a high quality carrier (currently handling a precious TL to NC for me).

Rob is not an alias, it's his real first name.

Keep well,
Mike

Mike,
That delivered yesterday Mike at 11am

Did I mention he offers FAST service?

We understood at 10 AM Monday that this was not going to leave town until Tues due to the weather conditions, happy to hear it delivered before it left. :)

Thanks as always Rob!

Mike

Hey Musicman we allow pets we just have you sign that the truck will be cleaned and damage free on return.

Musicman do you live in South Western Ontario ? We have one driver that carries his dog from time to time, we have no issues with this we only ask that if anybody goes into the truck they wouldn't know that there was a dog in there, A good point was made that maybe some type of holdback just in case there is damage from the pet or truck needs to be professionaly cleaned because of the pet dander

Regards DWC

Musicman, we are located in Ayr, Ont, same deal we allow pets but the unit must look as if there is no pets. Are you looking to run cross border?

I live in Barrie. I commute to Cambridge and back once a month to work. I have no problem with signing something or agreeing to an annual professional cleaning or a hold back till I leave

Well, still looking I guess! Suppose I just haven't found the right fit yet. Couple likes and good phone calls but just wasn't the right fit for one reason or another.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed.
