Hello Peeps

I am hoping you can shed some light on this mess. I gave a shipment to S & H Express Toronto. phone # 905-459-7200.

He is asking for Quipk pay- note this was not discussed in advance but that is okay. The problem I have is that the pars reads Mossbank Transportation/ 2050154 Ontartio inc. So as I usually do I sart to look for a phone number for Mossbank Transportation. We located this number: 905-362-0326. But when we search the phone # we found the following companies on Quick Trans and Federal motor vehicle site.

Are you ready? (That was my Chris Angel impression)

Oxford Transport
Transtech
Bentov Logistics
Hana Trucklines
St. Mary's Cartage
Whitefish Transport
Lines Carrier
Rohab
Truckworld
Mossbank Trans New MC 803205

Most of the above companies are showing out of service on safer web.
Somer were advertised with this number , others had totally different numbers as phone numbers.
The woman answers the phone saying hello.

Also I am having a hard time with search tag, I very seldon get a hit when searching a name, or I will be brought to the long list of postings to weed through. Am I doing it wrong?

It seems obvious that S&H double-brokered the load. Call Mossbank and ask them if they did the shipment from shipper A to receiver B and if so, ask them if they want to get paid directly from you or if they want to get paid by S&H. If they are OK getting paid by S&H, get them to send you something in writing with a signature relieving your company and your customers of any future responsibility of payment. They can make up their mind if they want to trust S&H or not.

Your other option is to check and make sure they did the load and TELL them you are paying them directly and cut out S&H regardless.

My opinion.

Well this # We located this number: 905-362-0326 is for Truckworld MCI a consultant who probably got Mossbank their authorities.

Which I see for Mossbank were issued on 11/1/2012.

Those other companies I would assume that Truckworld had a hand in their authorities as well.

Sorry can't be more help than that.

PSTC Inc.

anyone else know or deal with Mossbank? Todd Charles?

I'd avoid if I were you. I have an order from last week on my desk (I was on vacation) that I need to follow up on. Mid range service failure and the excuses were pretty BS too.

I've still got to follow up with Todd (and ensure my load was not double brokered).

Stay away, there's way better carriers out there.

Previous order booked was a long list of BS before the pickup and then an 'I'm not picking up at all'... DNU'd.

Keep well,
Mike

yes it delivered but not on time we had a 09.00 into Sherway, had to re-schedule for Midnight.

he made the Midnight apt, but we don't have the paperwork back yet.

we'll need to check who loaded, who crossed the border, and who delivered.

trip to NITL in Houston?

it was ok, Transcomp isn't what it used to be.

Although we did bring back a bunch of free stuff lol

Real quick update on this outfit (Mossbank):
Handled 2 orders for us late Oct, and early Nov and no invoice or POD for either load sent as of yet...
I'm going to have to collect the docs from the consignees and see if I can track down who handled the loads (assuming that is what's happened)...

Service was among the worst I've seen (still a rookie by most member standards at 8 years) and no invoice/POD is just another flag in this puzzle...

Keep well,

Mike

same here, this guy was horrible!

we just told him his standards were below par at best and told him we can't deal with him.

communication was a major issue.

Keep the $ in the bank and when a 'real' carrier calls you, you have the means.

Can't pay something not invoiced with backup docs.
So sad.

Keep well,
Mike
