FED Transportation

I finally called the shipper to see if the freight had been picked up. He said the freight is still there so obviously there is a problem with FED. I am looking for a different carrier now. Anyone with a drop deck that can pick up a skidder in Quebec City to go to Kenora please let me know. 17 feet weighing 13,000 lbs.

As far as I know Remi (FED) is only a broker. No trucks. He is always trying to broker equipment that comes into Sept Iles from Labrador for the worst kind of rates.

Fed up!

I found that out after looking into the company. He was already in our system so he must have done something right once. He is on our DNU list now for two reasons, no trucks and no communication.

I was out of this business for over a year and I'm back to making some rookie mistakes. Oh well, live and learn.
