Happy New Years Everyone!!

Does anyone have an enclosed car trailer to actually drive the car into the trailer? I'm thinking maybe something like the race car trailers? They don't want it on a flat bed or the typical car transports to avoid any possible damage.

Pick up from a residence near Priceville, ON
Deliver to Brampton, ON

Car transport

If you can't find a specialized trailer, just use a dry box with logistics posts and get a flatbed tow truck to load it , they usually charge a flat $50.00 to load or unload.

Call David @ Scott Woods Transport - They have fully enclosed Tilt Load containers - 1 800 387 9943

TFX & Mackie are specialists at moving cars. They have the drivers that know exactly what they're doing and the correct equipment.

Scott-Woods is a quality carrier... but more familiar with moving machinery.

Keep us up to date with who you use, what it costs you and how it went. I (and I'm sure others), would like to know for future reference.

Good luck

Hi Alx,
Yeah, I tried that already but the guy was nervous about the tow truck damaging and then again when bracing in the van.

Thanks Navigator & Big H, will see what they say :D
Nawk - Thanks for the info.. a 1952 will require a specialist for sure! :D

Girth

I would suggest 60% of drivers would be eliminated from that scenario due to slightly large girth!!
It was hard to do 20 years ago, dam near impossible now!

Well I got what I found to be a very reasonable rate from TFX, but the availability is lacking for them to go out to that area. I'm sure if it comes down to it they could increase the price and send someone out right away, but since it's going to be moving overseas, what's a few more days right?

Now just have to wait and see if they accept it :)
