This should read "Camlane is in the same building as Premiere Van Lines". Premiere Van Lines has no affiliation with Camlane. They were only neighbours in the same building. Hope this clears up some confusion!
 
Sorry about that Premiere. That is what I meant, same parking not "with". I see that they are really gone from there. Any idea where they went? Anyone else hear anything?
 
We have been receiving numerous phone calls for Camlane. Please do not call Premiere Van Lines Barrie. We have absolutely nothing to do with Camlane or their accounts payable!!!

Addresses

Anyone have any updated information as to home addresses for the father or the son? Even a municipality would help.
 
Rumor is!

I have heard that some equipment is secreted away somewhere safe and the son is planning on reopenning shortly under another banner!
 
Camlane - Let's Stick Together

We have filed fraud charges against The Camlane Group Inc and against David and Troy MacLean. I can forward the name of the RCMP constable handing this case if any other carrier is interested in joining this action. I also understand from talking to National Defence that there are over 20 carriers who have done work for them alone who have not been paid by The Camlane Group Inc. I understand that we can go after individuals (not just the company) if there was never an intention to pay for services – that is fraud. I have also heard from an excellence source that David MacLean’s son is planning to start up a new company with The Camlane Group Inc equipment. I would also be cautious of Sara Robitaille (if she shows up at another company) who worked for The Camlane Group and spent many months lying to our company about cheques being sent and invoices paid.

The address on their corporation profile is 10 Carisbrooke Crt in Brampton, ON – does anyone know if the MacLean’s are still connected to this address?

Also What is System 55?

Be very careful with these people. I am sure if anyone calls the Barrie Police they would surely be aware of his whereabouts. I would suspect commiting fraud of this magnitude may be in breach of his parole conditions. From past personal experiences when Camlane had a location in Montreal (NDG) I would never trust this man Troy, he's an evil person that cares for nobody more then himself and I knew back then he was capable of being very dangerous, I found out a year later when a friend told me about this whole situation but I had no reason to put any of it on here. Now it suddenly belongs here for everyone to know. How did these creeps get military loads????

Montreal Trucker, are you sure this is the same Troy McLean? Kind of a popular name. I noticed 2 different spellings in the 2 articles.
As a point of interest Dave had told me a year or so ago about having a customer stiff them for over 100 grand. I thought afterwards, Why would anyone want to stay in business after taking that kind of hit in todays market? Maybe now we know.

Certainly the spelling of the directors of Camlane is MacLean. They are supposed to appear this week at a settlement conference in Barrie - any bets they don't show???????

Doubt they are still in Brampton - long drive to Barrie

System 55 is a carrier that has been around a long time though I don't know how active they are now.
 
Alberta check your PMs. Kando's trucks went to System 55 but I think thats when Camlane started????

I have a default judgement against them but they never showed up or responded to any of the court papers... The Address 10 Carisbrooke Crt in Brampton is owned by a MacLean, just not David or Todd very conveniently but there is some property in the Barrie area owned by David MacLean, not sure if it is the same one??? Anyone get anywhere with these guys???

Presuming you filed your case in 2010, you would have had to serve Camlane's claim in person, and to DM and TM by registered mail, and included a copy of Canada Post's confirmation of delivery on your affidavits of service. I think you must only have DJ against Camlane, as Troy would have been hard to serve as he is incarcerated. Please clarify who and how you served your claim.

Whoever is privy to that information should send an e- mail to the officer in charge of purchasing for the armed forces, with a link to this site.
That should swiftly end that co operation and if not. Then one must move further up the echelons of the military hirarchy!!!

There are enough reputable Carriers brokers that can handle the work properly.
