System 55

Interesting read. Although they have not collected all the money, they at least got some. Note they are a licensed broker with a surety bond. Perkins claimed against the bond.

"Perkins filed a claim under the $10,000 surety bond that had been posted by the Massachusetts company and recovered $9000"

I know there was a discussion on this site about surety bonds and being licensed in the USA to broker freight does it hold any weight?

This again proves the point no MC and no surety bond you shouldn't be brokering freight in and out of the USA. Carriers should check this stuff just the same as us brokers checking the safer site !! This would stop people from being hurt further.

System

Just to clarify System 55 is not related to Felter/Frazier/or sometimes know as FTI. System 55 is off Royal Windsor Drive in Oakville, the other is in Grimsby.

System 55 has been around since at least the early 80's. We used them a fair bit in the old days. Sounds like they are falling on hard times. Still no excuse to screw people over!
