Has anyone not been paid by everest? if you have been paid how long did it take.
 
Do not use Everest. I just had experienced them trying to triple broker a shipment. DO NOT USE and they will get what they deserve!!
 
Everest Freight --- Able Transport

I wonder if Nas from Everest is the same Nas from Able Transport?
 
Direct load

Just took some LTL from an American Carrier that had given this shipment to Everest last week. He never made the pick up. What a surprise. Must have been hard to find trucks.

I do not have DAT, therefore it must be getting hard to find trucks if Americans are calling.
 
I just got caught up in their double triple broker scam. Luckily I caught it before it got too out of hand. Also a tactic they are using is to lie about the size of the shipment. They tell you its 8 ft and when you go for the pickup its 16 ft. Great way to double the revenue without having to pay if they don't get caught.

Same Nas from Able and also do a search on Everest Freight and you will see how shady they are. Nancy likes to Yap a lot when it comes time to pay. 144 days avg. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Thank God!!

I guess I was lucky, took two different shipments at the same time. Easily in the $2000.00 range.
Went by to see their office after I read up on them on this site.
Spoke to someone at reception then talked to accounts payable.

I do not remember the ladies name in A/P but she was friendly and promised a check the next week when the freight bill was at thirty days.

She called me on schedule and I picked up the checks and they cleared, I did not think I looked so imposing!!
 
Boy I'm glad I never took the job with them that they offered me a few years ago. As far as trucks, I think I've seen a straight truck with their name on it, but not 100%. I love brokers that say they are trucking companies by having a pick up truck or a straight truck that they claim is their fleet, as they cannot do any business with American Brokers unless they have *running authorities*
