Another Brampton company and a numbered company on top of that !!!! Go figure. Avoid the stress, just say the load is booked and keep your blood pressure at a normal level.

Having an home office, shouldn't be a bad thing by itself. Your references and work history should be the deciding factor wether to give freight or not.
You could rent an office in any industrial unit and be not any better than someone running a home office.
Just what I think.

His name is joshi aka Josh aka raj aka rajiv...... he use to run Joint carriers, then north american carriers now this compnay superdeck is owned by one of his drivers and he is running it, because MTO took away his CVOR for both companies, The address is his house address, anyone who wants to know should call MTO and they know him on first name basis, he is also being investigated by police for some scams he has pulled.
He calls us all the time on our loads but he is on our DNU list.
I would stay as far away as possible.

In this case specifically there were 2 red flags here that warranted a "beware" or "stay away" response - a numbered company and a Brampton residential address. It is awful having to note these circumstances as "flags" to begin with but that seems to be the trend and it certainly hasn't proven to be a positive one.

History keeps repeating itself, just a few months ago we were discussing almost the same thing about other Brampton companies. A lot of these new Canadians are just wonderful people that contribute to society but then you got these truckers in Brampton that just believe our laws and standards dont apply for them. I had lunch last week with the owner of a large freight company and some of the stories I heard about some of these outfits would make everyone think twice, it's a shame because yes there are still some good ones we must not put in this category.

I have to agree with Ranger here,
We have different addresses on our authorties and billing etc. Our authoirties are from back in 97 when the company was ran out of the house and now we have moved the US and Canadian authorities are still the originals and when we have talked to both to change that they both told us so what dont worry about it all your mail goes to where you are now they are just fine.
Saying that I guess that means I cannot book freight with most people on this board even though most if not all the members know us or have figured out who we are by now!

On the subject of home offices or not, I am very nervous when I hear kids, dogs, or TV's in the background. Back when we started, home offices was the new thing but I always believed either you're in business, or you're not. Trying to combine both doesn't sell well. I don't blame you for being nervous, it raises flags here too, and I don't care if you're in Brampton or Bancroft...or Norwich. Tell 'em it's gone. Sorry for not updating LINK
