I didn't approve Canex for use as a carrier for the simple reason that they are playing a shell game with Laser Expedite, which has a crappy safety rating. Give freight to one, ends up on the other company's truck. Wouldn't be surprised if they are playing the same game with their billing and payables.

They started Canex before closing Laser then I think they bankrupt Laser and are now just Canex aka Canadian Expedite on the linke

I use them for all my Eastern US great on time service. I don't know anything about payment history probally a Invoice problem.

LOL, ya it's always an invoice problem.
That or the person who signs the cheques is in a meeting until next Thursday.
But your probably right about the invoice problem.

I guess someone found my comment funny. I found in this business if you don't pay your bills your service would reflect that. Bad service=bad payers Good service=good payers. I mentioned that they always gave me good service that's why I'm surprised about the comments of bad payers. To each his own Good luck!

I keep getting the run around from them as well. In the middle of jan, I was told I would get an answer by Monday. Since that Monday(2 weeks ago) I have sent numerous emails, left alot of messages but no one ever gets back to me. I know Lori in accounting is reading my emails but she never answers back anymore. Invoice is pat 90 days old and there is NOTHING wrong with the invoice.

Guess who at Canex (Doug Hill from Direct Line) did not pay his bills? Be very careful dealing with this company. Laser allready went bankrupt. They have the 2 bigs crooks there (Steve Redpath and Doug Hill). Be very careful.

I remember Steve from Laser called me once for some freight and offered to take the load under Canex. Homey don't play dat.

On our DNU list after 1 and only load. Just received payment for it - small amount - took 79 days.
Upon first inquiry for payment - received a quick email back stating "we pay in 60". And that was the end of it....
