ILCO Transit - Payment trends

We slowly stopped using them as well, familiar names stopped appearing and payments became very slow receiving plus rates went to shit! We have one invoice outstanding, and I would like to know how we will recover that if anyone has any further information that would be greatly appreciated - I will likely attempt to contact the customer directly with all this information.

In Sept 2025 Ilco Transit was listed as an unsecured creditor for a company called Jade Equipment, a division of Elvaan Group, who manufactures road equipment. Jade Equipment was deemed insolvent and KPMG was named as the Receiver.

Ilco Transit was owed over $25,000, which to any Freight Broker, would be a significant kick to the teeth had they paid out all the carriers and waited for the funds to be paid. This may be one of the reasons why they have gone silent.

Are these guys still around. They owe us money for 60 days now and noone is responding
Nah , sorry but your money is probably lost. You could try to claim there bond insurance like multiple carriers did, and like we did. Not sure we will be able to collect something, they accept claims until may 17th ...

Hi Guys

ILCO was a very good company and they had direct clients and built their company from scratch.

Unfortuantly, bad employees that were load brokers screwed the owner. I know him personally and have met him several times in the past few weeks.

We used to work with him also before all this happened.

Yes you will not be paid because he had no choice but to close and has already spent 200 000$ in lawyer fees to after those same employees.""

@Usman1982 : fail to mention the employees were not paid their commissions so they took their customers and left ....like the carriers on this forum past employees were left out cuz he was busy spending money on personal shit out of the company and not able to pay the carriers and employees.

Like the owner of ilco spending 200k on lawyers for a losing battle , the person who wrote the comment i quoted above is also a moron
