Sg Capital Burlington or Vittoria?

One of my colleagues asked me to post these questions as he does not have an account.
Does anyone know who the true Sg Capital is?
There appears to be 2 parties representing themselves as SG Capital. 1 being in Burlington and 1 in Vittoria.
Is it possible to register the same trade name?
One of these parties seems to be acting illegally?

Also we were looking for a good factoring company to use. Any recommendations?

Vittoria is Scotlynn. He may be running it out of Burlington right now until the fancy new building is done in Brantford. He has an office in Paris as well but that maybe just brokerage.

I cant speak about Scotlynn factoring but I know that Scotlynn trucking has double brokered loads in the past.

There are 2 companies acting as SG Capital, one is Scotlynn and one is not Scotlynn. We came a cross this back a year or so ago and had to do a deep dive on the SG Capital out of Burlington. When we requested their legal corporate name they were not very forthcoming in the beginning, but after a lot of back and forth and our own research they finally did divulge the correct Legal Corporate Name.

We do not, the issue only arouse as we were already making payments to an SG Capital (Vittoria) for several years prior to receiving an NOA from the SG Capital in Burlington. Once the Burlington entity supplied the legal name we were fine to issue payment according to our Controller.

Actually that document is not legitimate. That is not what a business license looks like or an operating license. That document is altered.

Remember, names could be similar but are not the same:
SG Capital <> SG Capital Inc.
These are two separate trade names that are acceptable.


There is also SG Capital with an 807 phone number (northern Ontario)

I think in my opinion, that SG Capital is obviously Scotlynn. Here is one of the NOA's with the carrier info removed. Hope this helps.

Whether it is altered or not I can not confirm, but this is a screenshot of the CRA website listing not a copy of their Business License.

This document tells me where the domain sg.capital comes from in my previous post. But why the northern Ontario area code?

I ran a report for:
SG Capital Inc - none are registered as a business or a trade name.

SCOTLYNN GROUP CAPITAL INC. is registered as


SG Capital (Without the Inc) is a registered trade name with the same date as above so likely they are adding the INC when they're really not registered as such.
