If they are US based calling on Canadian loads hang up they are a scammer. Tell me the last time you seen a US based truck in Canada that is not a mega carrier or a dedicated auto parts gig like Relco etc. They do not come to Canada but the double brokering scammers will book it if a broker is greedy enough to cover it with the low rates they throw out to entice the greed. They are not dumb and know to rate low so brokers see nothing but $$ signs over the insurmountable evidence pointing to them being a scammer. Does no one pay attention to the trucks when driving?

It was a Interstate load, they are on safer web, they have insurance as well
