The documents on Grant Thortons engagement website doesn't show these two companies are related to the extent that they are involved in the insolvency. Just the BC company.

There are rumors that BC ownership( there are more partners in MB and ON) have wrapped up in BC and moved to AB and they had company set up( don't know if same name or different) and running under AB authorities.

Not 100% sure if true or not.
