Massive enforcement blitz in Milton, Ont., puts 161 trucks OOS

They were even inspecting pickup trucks, plus an unmarked police car by the tennis courts on Guelph Line to make sure you tried to bail out on 5 sideroad

We need this to happen every day. Law enforcement and province of Ontario should be embarrassed to see a 50% defect rate, a 30% out of service rate, and 2.9% of vehicles so bad that they had to pull the plates because they should not be on the road.
It just shows how bad they have let it go.

Imagine if they were also inspected on the spot for compliance with employment legislation....
That's the problem. For this they got provincial agencies to work together, OPP, MTO and Ministry of Finance. For employment legislation enforcement you'd need federal employees (auditors) who haven't left their home for work since COVID. To get them to go out they'd have to buy something other than boxers and pyjamas.
