They're on my DNU. Took one load from them, zero communication, wrong addresses on the confirmation, unclear information in general and would not answer my emails. Didn't seem keen to reply to me until I told them I was cancelling. (which I did). This was awhile ago, maybe they don't suck now.
Just my $0.02, your mileage may vary.

Things did not change. We had a very long day with their freight yesterday, I tried to stay away from them in the past but decided to give them a chance. Very careless bunch of people, from lies to wasting our time and harrassing our staff over extra charges. I just told them that I cant trust them and asked to prepaid their freight bills. Its very hard to assess risk with these companies out of Brampton, ON (unfortunatly). Their reviews and credit checks out but in reality things go a lot different.

Regardless thanks for your response.

I have cleared debit by contacting their shippers and recievers, I would steer clear was a headache collectiing on the debit owed by them and threating claims if not paid. Eventually got the money yet not by any means net 30

Can you tell me how old the invoice was that you had to collect on? We have a load pending

Can you please elaborate what happend we will see what company you are hauling.

They have been promising to pay invoice , invoice at 90 ++ days

At 60 days, I'd be calling the shipper and receiver and starting to collect based on the BOL. Chances are if you aren't paid at 60 days, you aren't going to be paid at 90++ days... Take the initiative and collect your debt from parties who are listed on the BOL, or file against a bond if available.

Never let freight bills get past 60 days... no need to in my opinion, lots of resources available to assist in collecting outstanding debt if you are the carrier who hauled the freight.

@SCAM CHASER is an excellent paralegal who knows the industry. I'd just you don't wait any longer to take action.

We fully understand the importance of timely payment and the industry standard of not letting freight bills go beyond 60 days. Unfortunately, we are currently dealing with a complex situation involving stolen freight, and multiple carriers are under investigation. Due to this, law enforcement authorities have instructed us not to release any payments until we receive full clarification regarding which parties were involved.

We want to be clear—we are not refusing to pay our carriers. Our delay is solely due to the ongoing investigation and legal process. We've already taken legal action against certain carriers for unethical conduct and are actively cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter.

We expect to have a formal judgment and complete carrier identification by the end of July. Once that is finalized, we will move forward with all rightful payments. We also have a valid surety bond in place, along with our own insurance, which ensures that no legitimate party will go unpaid.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this situation.

I believe I elaborated just fine. Too bad nobody from Organo cared until it ended up on the internet. Appreciate you reaching out though, over a year after the fact.
We completely understand your frustration, and you’re right — this should’ve been addressed much earlier.

Over the past few months, there have been significant changes within Organo, including a full restructuring of our brokerage and operations team. We’re now committed to handling matters properly, openly, and on time. Your feedback is taken seriously, and we’re here now to do things the right way.

If you're open to it, we’d genuinely appreciate your continued advice and perspective to help us grow stronger and maintain better communication across the board.

Thanks again for your time and honesty.

?????

Only bad payers using any days over 30 as an industry STANDARD..
Need money-go to the bank!
Any credit card statement gives you 21 days to pay or else.

Thank you for your message, and I respect your position completely. I understand how frustrating delayed payments can be — especially in an industry where cash flow is critical to day-to-day operations.

To clarify: we are not using “60-day terms” as an excuse or a standard. While some contracts and shippers do operate on extended payment cycles, we absolutely recognize that 30 days or less is the reasonable and fair expectation for carriers. That’s our goal, and in most cases, we meet or beat that timeline.

That said, we’re currently navigating through some temporary cash flow constraints caused by a few delayed receivables on our end. It's not ideal, and it’s certainly not reflective of how we intend to operate long-term. We’re actively working with our funding partners and banking relationships to resolve this, and we’re prioritizing payments as funds become available.

To your point — yes, just like banks expect minimum payments, we understand that carriers need consistent income to keep moving. We’re not trying to shift risk or responsibility; we’re simply trying to manage an imperfect situation without cutting off communication or disappearing, which unfortunately happens too often in this business.

If we had insurance to cover this kind of delay, we’d use it — but as you know, surety bonds are not meant for cash flow, they’re for last-resort protection. That’s why we’re reaching out and doing everything possible to avoid forcing anyone into that position.

I truly appreciate your patience and professionalism. If you’d like to set a payment plan or partial release while we wait on incoming funds, I’m happy to work something out that helps keep your operations moving as well.

If a freight brokerage has been in operation for even just a few years, proper financial management should ensure that there will always be funds available. In other words, the principals should not be draining the retained earnings. Certainly there can be times when cash is scarce but that is why having a “cushion” of extra funds available is so important. With the recent number of trucking company failures, especially a few large ones, banks and other institutional lenders have become extremely gun shy about extending credit. There has never been a better time to maintain a well stocked savings account. If 35 years in this business has taught me anything, it is you must prepare and be ready for those “rainy days”.

Those chat answers to mean are screaming we are broke and hoping like hell to make it or just giving off excuses to still get fools to haul for them so they can take all they can get before the bank says no more. Times are tough folks when the we are behind because of blah blah it is usually a sign of the smoke before the big flame out. Seen it way to many times.
