When the criminals have no fear of the justice system this will never stop. Spoke to people who have been in jail. They say they are scared when they first get there and then realize its nothing. They dont care if they back. We need to fix the justice system in Canada.

Yep, and when there is no enforcement, the imagination runs wild, anything goes, and they will stop at nothing. With 14 trailers and 3 tractors already re-VINned plus two stolen units being dismantled on site, just imagine how many have been completed and sold/moved out.

Our industry is already complex enough. We don't need to spend time managing stolen, re-VINned equipment. This is one small piece of confirmed evidence of why rates stay depressed our industry. Some carriers running illegally, utilizing service providers who augment their sales with other nefarious income streams, all help to allow someone to run freight at a buck a mile.

Is there a scam these Indians will not get involved in. Was any sort of background done one these immigrants? Sure seems like we got a lot of the not so upstanding of the folks in Canada. Last thing I want to do is sound like a Trumper but when are we going to shit or get off the pot and put a stop to this shit? Maybe deporting a few would smarten the rest up? Big jail times no bail I do not know the answer but something has got to be done about the rampant crime in the south east Asian community.

And to think that in the “olden days”, the biggest scam was some guys using farm diesel to run their trucks. Man, more complicated is putting it mildly!
Oh that brings back memories! The gas delivery guy used to come into the house for coffee while the tanks filled and toss the dye pack on the kitchen table. I didn't understand it as a kid but when I got a bit older realized what a badass my farmer dad was.

Simpler times for sure.
