Mullen’s stern warning to Canadian politicians: ‘We’re going to go where the capital goes’

A good read, Mullen is calling this pretty accurate. Low or no growth in Canada until we can resolve the federal leadership issue.

yep he knows his poop and the government would be wise to take his advice into account and try and get theirs in order. Freaking mess they have us in now all to try and hold power. Screw Canadians the Liberals come first is their mantra or sure seems to be.

Our dollar is worth nothing? Not true. Our dollar is about $.68 US currently. That’s not nothing. And our historically weak dollar (relative to the US dollar) has given us a significant and sustained cost advantage over our American competitors. A falling loonie may yet provide some buffer against tariffs.

You have to factor all costs. Regardless how Canadians feel most of our products have an American influence. And, trucking in the US is costly, fuel, repairs, food etc. The dollar has dropped about 10% of its value in the last couple of months, somebody has to make that up
