Payment trends anyone? Have an outstanding load

We recently discovered that Nifty Freight Carriers has double brokered one of our loads back in September 2024. The carrier and factoring company that actually handled the load has reached out to us. Nifty's MC# became inactive on November 25, 2024.

We are working with the factoring company we originally paid to get a refund so we can pay the actual carrier that moved the load.

Update on this post, the factoring company that we originally paid is not giving our money back as they mentioned they would. We're now having to double pay on this.
