I've never done anything with these guys... Might be a tough bump to overcome during these times. I hope their insurance company doesn't try to screw them over.

I hope that no one was hurt.

I heard from Ray & he said 4 trucks damaged, but the office is ok other than the broken windows... main thing is no-one hurt

K-DAC was bought by ERB recently. If the insurance company is the same with both companies it might be tough for an insurer to fight/argue/devalue the claim although we all know where truck values are at.

I had heard that... but thought it was just talk. I could never figure out why the Erbs would "buy" anyone. Certainly they (Erb) have enough capital to feed their own hot shot division (Erb-X). If it is a fact and Erb owns them and their under Erbs insurance they should be fine.

But you do make a very valid point Ralph... the value of a truck to the operator certainly isn't the same to an adjuster.

Word is that K-DAC was having money problems, going after Erbs customers and cutting there rates so Erb just bought them out.

K-DAC was bought by ERB recently.

I have not seen anything that would confirm or deny this. I have recently done some work with K-Dac and all the paperwork looks the same as before.

It is definitely substantiated....they are operating as a division of the Erb Group, so all documents will remain the same. Information confirming can be found on Erbs website.
