SCAMMER! I just received a call from a carrier who booked my load from MAERSK LLC. I never booked it through MAERSK and not sure who else he is affiliated with.

I had a similar experience. The carrier reached out to me saying they booked through Maersk LLC. I dint even know this company and I booked my load with light truck LLC and they already cleared all their invoices with us via quick pay .. seems these two are scamming carriers and brokers both.. Especially through DAT
 
well if you guys have the right BOL take the customer directly to the court, they are responsible to pay you. if some one hired different company than who shows up at the shipper or receiver. they should not be loaded
 
These guys booked a load with us, we were the brokers here. But the load was given to Light truck LLC after following proper check, they had everything correct on FMCSA as well at that point. When the load was picked, it was picked by a company called Light Way Logistics, we asked light truck LLC they said it's their logistics company name only and they are the same.. Turns out.. Light way logistics is a different company overall who was given the load through Maersk LLC.. In other words, both light truck LLC and Maersk LLC are scamming both shippers /brokers and transport companies who are actually hauling the loads.

The only mistake we did was we got into their tactics to clear the invoice via quick pay to have operational costs.. We were hesitant but they requested they need it and if we can help them.. A lot of new companies sometimes ask us for quick pay via wire transfer to their US bank account, to keep their operating costs running, so we paid them but when we found out they are scamming and taking the money and not paying the trucking company who actually hauled it, we tried to connect with that company and clarify this and also reported these scammers.

We are writing details to explain our situation here, only to avoid someone else getting tricked or scammed by these guys. Hopefully people can be made aware of both these companies scamming both brokers and transport companies by double brokering with similar name Transport company hauling for them so they can easily continue doing this.

well then why did you not ask the shipper to send you the truck detail including logo on the side of the truck
