Booked a load with them for pick up today and I was advised driver will be there first thing this morning. First update in the morning is that the driver will be there at lunch time. Follow up emails to Joanne go without any response. Call is made just after lunch time and we're advised driver is 4 hours away and still has to get unloaded.

Very poor experience with them. No updates and no communication.

That's unfortunate to hear, i've had really good luck with Hayward's. Especially Joanne. They've always given me good updates with slightly above market rates, but I didn't mind paying because they're good at what they do.
We use them a couple times per week on OH-ON flatbed loads.

Hopefully it gets better for you before it gets worse!

Hayward does good work for us but the communication can be a bit hit or miss depending on the day.
