certainly red flags!! we booked a load with them. once we agreed they asked to be paid in advance before even picking the load up. we offered quick pay once delivered without issue.
They are on our DNU list for sure .

“Brown owned company doing brown company things”. What do you mean by that? Do they operate brown coloured trucks? Are the drivers uniforms brown like UPS? I was scammed one time by a slimy, red haired Scotsman. Funny thing, I still deal with the few remaining Scots in our industry and red haired company owners don’t automatically land on our DNU list.

Just same people that ask to be paid before they even pick up a load and as stated above need to change there company name on occasion. same ones that get to go bankrupt and buy their company back for pennies on the dollar, then claim bankruptcy personally. Same group that end up on W5 reports for providing improper training and giving licenses away. Same groups that are recorded on 84% or better of commercial accidents in Canada according to my insurance company. Same groups on Canadian border services website for Illegal smuggling ( to the point they stop posting names ) same groups that just got busted in Edmonton for fraudulent towing charges. same group that takes out most the bridges in the lower mainland BC. Same groups that hit buses with hockey teams on them.
I mean the list goes on on and on............. but you get the point, and I'm sure its all just a coincidence
You're right its not everyone , but the percentage is extremely high and the people ignoring all these red flags on the basis of being "nice" is why all of this gets to continue. That's what I meant

Ahhh yes….the good old days! No truck accidents, no one running into bridges, no trucking companies going bankrupt, no dope smuggling, no shady truck driving schools. Just a whole bunch of “white companies” doing “white company” things. Plus, there was no need to be “nice”!

Ahh yes the carriers long forgotten but still talked about in a not so good light. Jefferies Cartage Muscillo (sp) Provost Cartage etc all bad White guy operators are no longer around because back then the government and the industry had balls and had their authorities pulled. Now well we get the Elbows UP crown pandering so they do not get labeled racist. Fuck it call me a racist all you want if it helps you sleep at night but looking at the stats as the truth is the truth, If there is a way to grey area anything the town of brown is all over it and while you may not see it with your rose coloured glasses it is right there the truth.. Have a wonderful Friday folks. Too all the good carriers in the Brampton and Peel region of which I salute and work with it is time for you guys to step up against your not so up and up competition IMHO.
