Looking to see if anyone's used Kapila Transport out of Ayr? It looks like they've had their authorities since 2012 but at the same time their website is all stock images.

Any feedback on their service would be appreciated.

WELL THEY JUST ENDED ON OUR DNU.

GAVE THEM A PICK UP OF FULL LOAD FROM ALEXANDRIA , ONT TO BOLTON ON SEPT 5TH TO BE DELIVERED ON THE 6TH WHICH IS TODAY. I ASKED THEM TO DELIVER IT BETWEEN 7 - 8AM. GOT AN EMAIL @ 8.45 AM HE IS CAMBRIDGE, ONT STUCK IN TRAFFIC. AT 10.07 STILL STUCK IN TRAFFIC. @ 10.35 I GOT THIS
Due to traffic at 401 (near Cambridge) the driver is running behind. He is stuck here since morning and the traffic is no moving right now.

I LOOKED AT THE TRAFFIC CAMERA NO PROBLEM. SHORTLY SPOKE TO NICK, HE TOLD I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BUT SENDING ANOTHER DRIVER. @ 11.08 THEY SAID ETA 1PM. @ 12.95 PM ETA IS 1.30 PM. THEN I CALLED ABOUT 7 TO 8 TIMES, (ALL HIDING) NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. @ 1.27PM I WAS TOLD BY NICK HIS ETA IS 2.10 PM.

@1.22 PMN JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL

Driver is on the way for delivery. He will be arriving at location in next 5 min.

We will let you know once he will be at site.

@ 2.27 PM RECEIVED AN EMAIL

Driver in on the site for delivery.

We will notify you once he gets empty.

NOW WOULD SAY THEY SHOULD BE ON OUR LIST.

You're not done yet. The waiting time $$$ request to follow by 5pm. :)

In all seriousness, we have never had an issue with Kapila. We have used them 16x over the years. Granted, not for the last 12 months. Maybe it was just one of those loads that went awry from a decent carrier.

With accurate information so readily available, such as the traffic cameras on the Ontario511 website, why would anyone fabricate a story about bad traffic?

I think they did not have a city driver. All they did is lie. Not good. Just be up front. I have used them before. Never had a problem.

I really don't miss tracing loads with idiots, especially the ones that have no sense of urgency because, hey, it's not their customer. In the end when there is a receiver waiting for an important load and/or a line down, accurate and honest updates matter. So sorry to hear about your experience today.

Keep well, hope your customer wasn't shut down.

Honesty can be a hard thing to come by these days, smh.. Judging by the excuse, the dispatcher probably had to come up with it on the spot without checking live traffic. The driver couldve been busy with a local Cambridge delivery or simply wanted to avoid rush hour traffic on the 401. Either way they should've at least had the courteousy to say "hey can we deliver this in the afternoon tomorrow" instead of the mentality oh we'll just feed the broker a load of bs in the morning and hope he takes it. Sorry to hear about your experience man..
