Sweet sledAfter the Duster, I got a 76 Trans-Am 455 4 gear. At the time i also had a Kawasaki KZ-1000 Z1-R and a Merc 440 Sno-Twister. Insurance for all 3 was just under $400 a year. Those were the good old days...

Green certainly isn’t a car colour you see much of these days. It was quite popular in the 60‘s and 70’s. My mustang was a pale green colour with matching interior. Orange is another colour that was common in those days.olive green - that must have been interesting
78 Civic.... If you rode in the front passenger seat... you could stick your foot under the dash and push the rod connecting the brake master cylinder. Us to do that to a friend of mine...every time he pushed in the clutch, I'd apply the brakes. He had his dad look at that car may 10 or 12 times and his dad kept giving him crap, telling him there's nothing wrong with the car and he must be hitting the brakes at the same time.drove 1978 Honda civic.. when I pulled in gas bar it was fill oil and check gas.. Never a bug problem around my car. LMAO

I told his dad a couple of years later. He said he had it figured out but loved the fact he could poke at his sons driving.
