HELLCAT LOGISTICS

This whole fiasco sounds like a really good news tip to W5 or some other investigative reporting.

Heck, maybe Tucker Carlson would like to look into it. An inquiry can be called and Justin Trudeau can call on Dave Johnson to maybe look into it.

Sooooo ... who wants my 2 cents worth ??? ;)
Tough, you're getting it anyways.

1) I am assuming Annie Dhal did not contact the RCMP, which would have been the correct course of action for a missing load of military hardware. York Regional, or whatever local cop shop was called, has no clue how to deal with what happened.
2) I suspect when the military was contacted, it was the military police that got involved? If not, it should have been.
3) The very moment the precise location of this load became questionable, calls, lots of calls, should have been made to relevant authorities.

Missing military hardware ... that shit happens in Russia. Not here.

I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't some major investigations, criminal charges laid, prison sentences, and deportations that come out of this.

Why so harsh you ask ... because what you are talking about either borders on, or is outright, terrorism.

I would encourage everyone to email a link to this story to their MP, and demand an answer.

Sorry Annie but your company effed up big time. This isn't a matter of poor carrier service, and double brokering and all that related crap. This is major criminal activity, potentially on an international arms dealing level.

I would agree 100% Michael…..if indeed this was a true story. There is something very fishy about this whole thing. Way too many holes, inconsistencies, and vague, muddy details. None of which are helped by the posters lack of grammar and English composition. It is an explosive (pardon the pun) tale that makes everyone shake their head about how such a travesty involving the Ministry of Defence could ever take place. Did it? The only thing for certain in my mind after reading all this, is Hellcat, Annie/Andy Dahl and all of the other shady characters mentioned have earned a prominent and well deserved place on my Do Not Ever Use in a Million Years list!

All the more reason to let relevant authorities investigate. Force the whole thing to implode on itself.
If it's true, someone is going to jail.
If it's false, someone is getting blacklisted everywhere, and possibly sued.

To be frank; what we're missing is not regulation in rates but regulation in service.

When you win a Mcdonald's prize you have to answer a skill-based question.

When booking a load they should send you a Captcha that requires you to answer

"how many innings in a baseball game"

or

"What name does Canada give to its XXX electoral districts, each one of which elects a member of parliament to the country's House of Commons?"

or

"When ignoring the stem, how many points does the maple leaf on the Canadian flag have?"

or

"Last time the Leafs won the cup"

Last one might be a doozy

That's from the canadabuys.canada.ca government website regarding which offer is selected:

"Taking offers for hauling vehicles for RCMP....."

"Basis of selection:
The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price, per requirement, will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer."

I don't know...... but you get what you pay for!

you can google all these - honestly sometimes dispatchers (clearly not based out of North America) shock me with lack of common sense - got called on a load from AB to NM ... said my driver needed to come home as did not have hours for the US

Dispatcher: he can go to MB and then NM!!!!!!!!!!! no rush on delivery

not sure what I was supposed to say to that ... go blue bombers ... lol

I was going to lock this thread a day or so ago because no one was on topic (Hellcat)... I'm glad I didn't as some of the details that came out are extremely interesting.

For the record (and my solicitor getting a good night sleep) - I know nothing about any of the companies listed in this thread, I was asked to open this thread so I did...

Keep well,
Mike

Is there not some sort of screening process to haul firearms? I would imagine they would want to do a quick background check on the driver who is hauling this! And wouldn't they want that driver to have their firearms license?
This does not make any sense that a load of firearms would be just given to any joeblow carrier

It was harder picking up a load of toilet paper last year than firearms by the looks of it.
