Since all else has failed - I am turning to you guys....

How in the $#^$ does the CBSA Portal work for creating your ACI - I created it in the portal - and submitted ... however I also tracked thru Border Connect ...
In Border Connect it was waiting to be cleared and in the CBSA portal it says 'ACCEPTED'

Does accepted mean good to approache border? When I called the support line they said they were waiting for CBSA to approve the shipment and so couldn;t approach

How do you guys do your ACI / ACE???

First world problems :)

It means your manifest has been accepted, but may still need a acceptance of the manifest that the customs broker sent. When both are accepted that handshake populates the entry number on your end.

We use Avaal, and find it easier than border connect, only thing I like about Border Connect is the inbond manager.

The status on CBSA says accepted and is time stamped. The driver can cross 1 hour after the accepted time.
If you are looking to see if the PARS have been cleared then click on the trip, and then the trailer tab (unless it's a straight truck, in which case you would click tractor). On the next screen click on the underlined #1, under the "number" heading. The next screen will show you the PARS (cargo) attached to the conveyance. If the status says "cargo complete" it is not clear yet.
If it says "document package complete" then it is clear.
Now I will say, sometimes it will say cargo complete, when it has in fact been cleared, so you would need to double check on the brokers pars tracker - but it never says document package complete, if it's not clear.
Hope that makes sense!
