Umair at Yasoob double brokered a Chicago ltl of mine to another company we work with taking $300 off the rate. You try and do the right thing and broker loads for a decent price and this is what happens. I believed he used his own equipment to haul the bulk of my freight in the past, but who knows reviewing PAPS/PARS documents on any outstanding.

Yasoob Logistics MC# 1032105 Saskatoon
SAF Contracting MC # 971197 Saskatoon
MS Carriers MC # 999014 Caledon

These are all related with the same dispatcher. I have no definitive evidence but somehow Fast Force Logistics LLC is involved MC # 994894 Kitchener as a brokering arm.

DNU for the whole lot of them.

Umair runs some kind of dispatching service but I can't quite figure it out. He works with a few carriers but the strangest thing is he emails from one carriers email address and says he's given it to a completely different carrier ie. emails from Yasoob and he tells you it's SAF, or another one of his clients. Not sure what to make of it.

Other companies:

Amosa Logistics MC# 105043 Cambridge
Papha Translogistics MC# 1185369 London
Samways Express MC # 903119 London
Fast Go Transport
Fast Transport MC# 772323
JMR Transport MC# 794406

I think they are using a singular Link Account but I am not sure under what, couldn't locate them myself on the Link.

He's done work for us where it was the correct company loading confirmed by the shipper, I am not sure what to make of it either other than the fact that the carrier he brokered this particular load to has been working for me as well and provided proof of the double broker. Overall pretty disappointed, they had done a good job overall in previous runs. Bitten once as they say.

Probably uses 1 load link account and books loads under the strongest MC and brokers them out to the smaller company that he provides 'dispatch services' for. We get calls all the time from people offering dispatch services and this scenario always comes to mind which is why we always decline. I can see this service he provides being beneficial to the owner operator companies with 1 truck listed but thats about it.

Taking $300 off an LTL from Chicago seems really high...

I was paying $900, he paid $600. Luckily I got the correct carrier (not form the list below completely separate company) and paid them the total amount. He was making more than double my mark up...

Do you know if the carrier it was brokered out to (that you use regularly as well) use his dispatch service or was it just a one off? I know the carriers we've used through him before seem like owner/operators so it makes sense they might use a dispatching service, but it's concerning if he's "brokering" outside of his group of clients. You just never know these days.

It is very had to properly vet the underlying carrier when Umair sends in a different carrier than he agreed to "dispatch" the load to.

I checked some of the carriers on SMS, some have poor safety ratings and some have 1 truck and no inspections.

This is a huge red flag and automatically puts them on the DNU list plus If this is the same Umair that worked at Natt Enterprises then I will double down on the DNU

This was a straight double broker, carrier given the freight was Sodey.

Very interesting ... luckily you caught it. I will say that we've never had an issue like that with Umair (that we know of) but now we'll be keeping a close eye on his loads. We've used Sodey a bit here and there and never had an issue with them either.

NAIL ON THE HAMMER. Dispatch services are great but if there is no visibility its extremely concerning and out right impossible to track and trace sometimes.

Yasir (owner) using 2 companies under Yasoob that have their own MC's and Insurance, check the PAPS & PARS for Eshal and Dua Logistics INC & Guraaditta Transportation. Neither of these guys have WSIB, or inspections on the US side. All loads were sent to Umair under Yasoob. He claims they are sister companies, and sent some sort of contract (that won't hold water) between them and Yasoob. You don't have the proper insurance on some of your freight guaranteed. This has been going on for a while according to Umair, and why he hesitated when I asked for PAPS/PARS info.
Sodey is solid all around, all my respect for exposing this to us.

Just got the PAPS/PARS info on shipments from Umair under "Amosa", showing Eshal & Dua Logistics on 2 loads and Rara Sahib on another. Spoke to someone at Rara who said he posted our load on the link and that's where she got it, but that she had been paid. I was about to call Eshal and see what the deal with them was too.

You should report them to:

So in other words everything Umair said to me about only double brokering that once to Sodey and everything else was booked through "sister Companies," or previous Yasoob drivers was complete and utter bologna. Did Rara happen to mention who had the load posted company wise Yasoob?

If the shoe fits . . . Rara didn't say who so I'm not sure if it was the dispatcher or the carrier themselves, sorry.
