OTA posted saying around 30 audits were done in the 4th quarter of 2025 and they found many companies not reporting drivers, resulting in millions of premiums going back into WSIB now. Anyone here had any experience with an audit in the last few years?

Yes we have had them as well as a number of other alphabet agencies in over the years for audits. Passed them all.. I knew a carrier was fined 265k by wsib years ago, They must of paid it as they are still at it. Bet they do not play that game anymore though,

I know a lot of Inc carriers just never add the drivers, and put them on the NAL plans for example. But I heard of one recently where driver got injured with no coverage now they’re going to backdate WSIB coverage to get him some income. I imagine that would trigger an audit?

Off topic a bit here but can someone confirm if original PODs need to be saved for CRA audit purposes? I understood originals were needed but maybe I am incorrect?
