Wish We had some laws on pricing!

If it does not have a margin of profit in the load when all is said and done let the crap sit on the dock. Better to go broke sitting at home on the couch over busting your ass up and down the road at a loss. I would not touch that at under 600 would be asking 750ish to start,

I have a few points of doubt. Firstly, is this price genuine? Secondly, if it is indeed genuine, what reasons support that this carrier can offer such a price? Thirdly, how many carriers are there that can afford this price? Fourthly, for carriers able to offer this price, how long can they sustain their operations? These are points I am very curious about.

I would only do this if I was delivering something in Bolton, and my yard was in St. Thomas. (if it was really slow and my driver didn't have much else to do) Because it'd cover my fuel to get the driver back to St. Thomas.

EDIT: Amazon and a drop though? hell no.

Someone just showed me this when I said GTA to London rate should $500-600 minimum. Wow!! I should say Good going newbees. YOU are on a right path to ruin everything. Thanks to Amazon too!!

few things to note this is from Amazon, and funny enough they actually offer to pay decent (they have a little note where you go to bid: "rates at $xx.xx and below would be considered) and the bids are almost about $400 to $500 below the offered rate . This isn't entirely the "Newbees" at fault, most of the mid to large cross-border companies have moved their capacity off the long hauls and dumped them into Amazon that's why you see a lot of the trucks with all their permit stickers on the side of em driving up and down the 401 corridor to Amazon depots. Its cut throat, and people are going down swinging but don't realize its just digging their own graves faster. We stopped bothering with Relay since mid summer last year and it went from comical to sad seeing these rates but hey Amazon's wining so they wont care. There's also alot of outfits that are DB'ing their loads, they are not even trying to hide it (i see those email big K lol do better), which I assume are going to not pay the end carrier and disappear when the 30 days are up.

More capacity needs to leave the market before these rates change so till then I'll be happy to stay away.

Who are you kidding? you wouldn't touch this with a 10ft pole LOL btw if I remember correctly these lanes have specific times to move too which was around 23:00 to 03:00 with drop trailers on each end that's held for 24 to 48 hours. So yep not worth it for anyone no matter how you toss the salad.

Yes- I have made my edit. But a quick live/live or live/drop 2 minutes from my yard, sure.

I feel that from entering the yard to leaving, if it's done within an average of 15 minutes, that's already very impressive; normally it takes at least 20 minutes.

LOL the only thing "Quick" about Amazon is their same day delivery's. THEY ARE THE WORST FOR LIVE LOAD/UNLOAD. At one point it was faster for our driver to pull the skids out to get moving.

You heard about Trans Emerge! about one million in payroll alone is unpaid including drivers and inside staff. That's where the money goes/ personal and offshore accounts.
