Where has the inbound gone?

Has anyone else notice the drop in inbound freight volume?

Can it be that the outbound has picked up quite a bit over the last few weeks and the inbound has not grown , thus the availabilty has been diluted?
Or is the Canadian economy slowing down?

Sure is slow coming inbound. Got trucks in GA, TN, and KY tomorrow no loads coming back out of there right now. We've been feeling this for last 2 -3 weeks.

This month has been a Little slow on freight, could be numerous factors involved and we are approaching year end.

We should be running full out getting the goods in for Christmas!!

It's definitely not what we expect for October.

Right now I personally am tracking about 15% off of the volume in September. August was my big month so far this year.

Hopefully it's just a lull.
