VK LINEHAUL LTD

I have not heard the name Whiskey River in a long time. Going back to 2004 we had "Whiskey River (Product Line Holdings)" set up as a vendor, we later set up "Product Line Holdings & Logistics Inc". I can't tell from our TMS if Whiskey River was a DBA or if there was a legal name change plus can't remember when it was acquired by the VK Group but guessing 2021

Did anyone else have freight in transit when this went down and having trouble getting it returned? We had 2 shipments that were caught up in the middle of this, 1 has been returned to customer. The second is more complicated, apparently some of the owner operators that are owed by VK are holding/hiding the trailers to try and leverage payment by MNP. What a mess!

Cannot say I blame the O/O. I know a guy I worked for took trailers tarps chains etc when we all got let go on Dec 22nd back about 92-93. Guy fired every driver O/O ( I worked for an O/O) and then left everyone in the yard office and went home. He came back the place was a barren wasteland as he was also a shady bastard late on pay all the time.

No longer in CCAA, now in receivership. Their last stay was rejected due to bad faith actions from the debtor.
