VIP Transportation Systems

Has anyone done business with these guys? I'm looking for a reference. They're looking for a load from us and it has all the warning signs:

1. GA -BC = Longhaul
2. D&B credit report has no info
3. references provided have only done a couple of loads in last couple of weeks.
4. FMSCA report shows only one truck and one driver.
5. Gave us a US phone number for a Montreal based carrier.

If I didn't need the load covered so badly I wouldn't bother, all the warning signs are there.

Sounds a bit like the folks that were set up last september out of St Lambert.

Using an untraceable cell phone from Wal Mart with a US area code would put me off right away!!!
Secondly, with such a pretentious name as VIP they cannot hope to be in the business for the longhaul.

Saw a V.I.P Transport truck on the 427 heading north this morning... didn't catch what city it was from but it might mean they actually have at least 1 truck
