they did some loads for me and all went well. On a sidenote, they did have someone falsely using their identity awhile ago so I would be aware. I spoke with Simi.
 
Just a quick update. They did 3 loads for us. All picked up and delivered on schedule. Good communication. I would use them again.
 
Gave a load to Simi and load went well, with the exception that Simi only knows once statment " I want more money ". All she asks for everytime she opens her lips. I have no problem paying waiting time and such but there is no relationship, I booked her appt's for her on this load knowing full well her or her diver wouldn't no consideration. I run trucks as well and know the routine but pestering your customer on the first move of a load for money constantly leads me to believe they won't be around all that long.
 
Anything recent on these guys? My last load they cancelled on me. Have a feeling they're going the double broker route.
 
At my old place we used them much more than here. They definitely were not double brokering but they were known to 'give-back' freight. But at least it was rare to give back last minute. They are probably getting better offers.

Once service was done, it was without fuss. It's not a big company, maybe somewhere between 10-15 trucks I think.
 
That's a totally different company. Vanguard Global is multi-national and deals with LTL and package. Vanguard Transport is a relatively small fleet probably running from the owner's house.
 
Worked out for the shipment. They picked up fine.

I've worked with Simmi before, but now it seems Dev is the only one answering the phones.
 
I gave Vanguard Transport a load from Windsor, ON to SAskatoon. They loaded Windsor late on Tuesday noon appt showed up at 3 pm without calling us or anyone. From the start it was to deliver by Friday and they asked about next week delivery but Friday was the date. They agreed and took the load.
Next morning we get a call from a guy in their office that they are now out of service and can't deliver my load until Saturday. So I say fine Saturday, nope Monday now. Typical with some of these upstarts with a couple trucks, pick up your freight and then drop bad news on you. So now they fear I won't pay them and want money transfer to even drop at our dock in Mississauga. Would never use again, and if you chose to beware.
