*** Canadian Brokers,
Please be advised that V&K, who appears to be an asset company has been found in late 2007 to be accepting *** loads from one of our brokers, and then double brokering it out. I have gotten 2 calls from the end carriers who have not been paid on these loads, but *** has paid the 1st broker, and the 1st broker paid V&K. If you use them, please do not give them any *** loads. I am told they are not physically at 7777 Keele St unit 826 in Concord, or at 202 Toro Road in North York where they are registered with DOT. And they don't have a broker authority either.
Long story short now the 2 end carriers are trying to get *** to pay, and of course we've already paid the broker for the load, but did not sign section 7 of the BOL (we are now).
If any of you have any funds due V&K and would like to help me resolve these 2 pending disputes using your funds as leverage, I would much appreciate an email. Otherwise, heads up on V&K.
