Yup, a PO box often means they don't want anyone to know they're running out of an apartment building..(although I know some good people who do)..

If the PO box is located at the post office, it might be a better sign. I sure hope so, all of our mail gets delivered to our PO box at the post office. In our case, we share the building with another company but there is only one street address. To make it simple for both parties, we use PO boxes.

We will accept a PO Box as long as we have an alternate address that is verifiable.
