Arrest in $1M theft of Sony gaming products

A Toronto man has been arrested in connection with the theft of $1 million worth of Sony gaming products.
Peel police say that two trailers filled with Sony products were stolen in Brampton in mid-November.
A police investigation led to the recovery of about $500,000 worth of the stolen merchandise -- including 1,600 pieces of Sony gaming equipment and some 2,000 Sony video games.
Toronto resident Jason Meadus, 39, has been charged with three counts of possession of property by crime.
He is due to appear in court in January.
