I wanted to take this opportunity to warn everyone (especially freight brokers) of two truck lines that are stealing freight and extorting money from the brokers. Last week on Oct 8th, we gave a load to Trinity International (MC 479615, based in California) and they refused to deliver the load until an additional $ 4,000 ransom was paid. Supposedly, they claimed we owed a debt to Bubba Trucking (MC 465506, based in California) and they would not deliver until the debt was paid. (apparently they are owned by the same crook) We were instructed to pay the factoring company Alpha & Omega Factoring, Inc (based in California)….. also owned by the same crook and in the same office as Trinity. Our attorney advised us to pay the ransom, get the load delivered, and sue them in civil court. Our attorney said the authorities would not offer any help (sadly, he was right, the FBI said “they did not have the resources to pursue this…”).
Long story short, we wired them the ransom and then they DUMPED the load at a warehouse in L.A. by the name of Rapid Deployment Systems, who then held us up for a $ 900.00 payment for storing the load 24 hours. These companies are part of the same crime ring, do not do business with any of them! Please forward this to all other brokers you know so they can blacklist them as well. I am in the process of getting these companies blocked from the major load boards.
