Aug 13/18 we booked a power only trip to haul our loaded trailer from GTA to CGY....trailer would be loaded and ready to roll Fri Aug 17 6pm...I saw the trailer at the Mississauga Husky 11 am Monday Aug 20...
Dispatcher Cassandra, Monday Aug 20 claimed she didn't know anything about the breakdown and couldn't reach the driver or her boss...trailer was supposed to arrive in CGY by Aug 21...
We booked this trip with you 5 days advance, your company and your drivers had the entire week to prepare for the trip.
Your driver pestered our shipper Friday wanting the trailer asap to get rolling.
Breakdowns happen, and sometimes without warning, I know. I've been at this for forty years, and am not ignorant to the realities of trucking.
Your truck broke down and no one from Trideck reported to us. Your driver told me, "I reported to my dispatcher, so what more could I do?" He's right, sort of.
We found out the trailer hadn't moved by spotting our loaded trailer sitting unsecured in a truck stop in the city. It's shocking someone didn't break into it. If I didn't see the trailer, when would you have ever got around to telling us you didn't move it ? INCREDIBLE !
I will share this tale or carelessness and irresponsibility with all my staff, and your company will never haul another load for us. Likewise I have shared the Tri-deck name with my clients and friends to save them from accidently going to work with such a group of incompetents.
Aside from the issue of not moving the trailer and leaving it unsecured, there's also the issue that the trailer wasn't in Alberta on time. The goods in the trailer we scheduled for timed delivery this isn't going to happen on schedule.
You have cost me and my clients hundreds, possible into thousands of dollars, because your organisation couldn't make a damned phone call.

We just went through the same shit. Dispatcher Cassandra is a lair.They picked up a load on Thursday morning (which was to be picked up on Wednesday) for delivering in Calgary , only to find out they will deliver tomorrow. The worst thing is that I had to call to find out. I asked So why have you not called us? The answer was I don't know. then I get oh the truck broke down. 7 days to deliver. While we have a crane waiting to unload him. NEVER AGAIN
We never had a problem with Cassandra nor with Trideck, they have done multiple loads with us and will continue to do so,
i know multiple drivers that dont relate to females because they are use to working with men only, this could be the very reason why she couldnt get a update from him or , and maybe his truck did break down but did the driver tell her or did he tell a male instead? You can say what you want to there are numerous companies that have used Trideck and dealt with Cassandra and have never had a issue with her nor the company.

First of all I don't have a problem with Cassandra. It's the DISPATCHER which happen to be Cassandra.
As a dispatcher you know that the load was not picked up according to pick up date. You would think that dispatcher would make sure it's delivered on time. If the truck broke down, I'm sure the driver called someone male or female for help and get the truck fixed. No one from Trideck called to advise us. I called the dispatcher no answer,

From my experience I have use Trideck transport all the time as well, I have never had a issue not once . Cassandra and Shiv are people who work hard and are friendly I have never had a complaint yet about her nor about shiv at the office. I will agree with Snow White on the fact that a lot of male drivers don't report to female dispatchers an will only report to males. I have been in the trucking business as a trucker and a broker for 30 years and in all them years I have ran across situations like this all the time .
The dispatcher can only give updated information that the driver gives to them and being a dispatcher All they can do is trust the driver with the information they provide to the dispatcher. Maybe they don't have gps in the trucks to see where they are not everyone has them either though.
I don't believe in wrecking someone's name on here if you have a issue with someone take it up with them privately .

Well I must say you are very lucky and I'm not. I believe this site is were we share our good and bad experience. I don't have a problem with anyone posting bad things about me if I deserve it.

I call Bullshit on this unless for some reason the drivers are from a country that looks down upon women at which point the driver needs to understand this is Canada not the shithole you came here from because it is a better country. If the driver is not willing to assimilate into his CHOSEN new country I am sure there is a plane, boat or goat heading back to the shithole from which he came.
Probably not PC but I have never been know to be PC anyway so who gives a shit.

I am just saying by sounds of it the driver is to blame I am sure there are a tons of companies that have had there share of bad drivers out there that have lied to there dispatchers. It's hard for any dispatcher to know exactly where the driver is especially if there is no gps in the truck to follow them even then gps units have there issues as well. Maybe the driver that screwed up is no longer employed there, but they do have some great drivers an awesome staff there.
I am sorry for your problems you have had I am gonna to continue using Trideck as I no my customers have been happy with them and there drivers.

Gender difference hindering communication is a BS excuse
Lack of communication is a service failure (no matter the reason)
Incapable of tracing your own equipment is sloppy, period.
