did you finally got paid ? we still haven't received a payment. We've sent an official email that we would be taking legal procedure if they don't pay and OH SURPRISE , we received an answer in less then 5 minutes. They promised to put us on top of the list and get us paid by the end of july, 1 week remaining and still no payment.. let's seeWe have an issue with them also, 4 months old invoice still not paid and we also received the letter from them about delays. Cannot reach anybody that works there.
That's exactly what I try to epxlain every week to our dispatchs before they accept A load, ALWAYS DO A LITTLE RESEARCH. Read google comments , google maps , websites, etc.Never heard of this company but in 2 minutes i found out i would never deal with a broker that works from an apartment building. Google street view is your friend ;-)
I honestly think at the end of the year, this alone is more important than negotiating an extra 25-50$ per load through hardcore negociation. losing 10k+ a year in the hands of this type of "broker" is definitely hurting more. Look further than the actual need of something in the truck and more on the pedigree of the client who is hiring you. It's key to so many bad things happening in our industry today. A little more of this would cause a lot less double brokerage. That's exactly what I try to epxlain every week to our dispatchs before they accept A load, ALWAYS DO A LITTLE RESEARCH. I have a question for the smaller carriers.I honestly think at the end of the year, this alone is more important than negotiating an extra 25-50$ per load through hardcore negociation. losing 10k+ a year in the hands of this type of "broker" is definitely hurting more. Cannot really tell for smaller carriers since we're not, but due to the tariffs , I think some dispatch are on panic mode and decide to ignore the red flags just to get a return for the driver..I have a question for the smaller carriers.
Is there no checks and balances from who you take loads from? Is it simply all about covering the truck by any means possible and worrying about collecting later?
I know on our asset side, the amount of red tape to get a new brokerage set up, often just isn't worth it.
