Transport Jaguar

We have them as a carrier 26 shipments with us last year, no problems only 6 or so this year so far, we have been using them since 2007. They do a good job for us.

I see this posting is a couple of years old. Don't know if anybody else ran into problems with them.

I tend to not use their services, mainly cause of the dispatchers that when I call, always seems to bother them and always rude.

Gave them another chance ( poor me ) and here's what happened:

FACTS
- Gave the dispatcher ( Nadia ) 4 loads to pickup in Camden, NJ coming back to Montreal last Wednesday ( 06/17 ) to pickup friday ( 06/19 ) and Today ( 06/22 )
- Coils on skids - need to be tarped.
- Gave all the infos ( at the port, need twic or escorts, needs a pickup appointment taken 24hrs in advance. Once picked up, call me back with the coil numbers or send me the BOL so I can send the CCIS.)
- Called her at 13h30 on friday to make sure we are all setup, driver on site or almost and if she had the coils numbers. Being a friday, I didn't want to miss sending the ccis and have 2 drivers stuck in the US for the whole weekend.
- She told me drivers were on their way, that she called and we don't need appointment, only to be there before 2h30pm.
- Called back at 3h30pm asking if she has the infos - told me she would call me back in a few minutes.
- Called again at 4h00 pm - wasn't able to reach her.
- Sent her an email at 4h45 pm saying I need the infos, which she replied to at 4h53pm.
- Asked her at 5h13 PM - no answer
- Called, at 5h20 - after pushing all the extensions and options, finally was able to reach another girl. Told me Nadia quit for the weekend. Told her the reason of my call. She put me on hold for about 5-6 minutes. Then told me she had to reach Nadia, that both loads were NOT picked up and would be on Monday.

OPINIONS

Loads were probably double brokered.
She has no respect for other people and if very unprofessional.
How the hell to do go out of the office, knowing pretty well there is someone waiting for you to confirm required infos?

Of course, I cancelled the 4 loads. Don't know if she has ' trucks ' in the are often, but I have about 50-75 loads per month for that lane.

On our DNU for probably ever.

Oh, and I didn't blow a gasket because freight was not picked up, I could have pushed them easily for monday, if I had known. NOT after many calls, emails and the person is gone for the day without letting me know when I'm waiting here, like a looser for over 30 minutes for nothing.

Thanks for letting me rant a little.

Cheers!

Sounds like a classy lady........people like this make the entire company look bad (unless, of course, the entire company IS bad). How hard is it to pick up the phone and just say "yes, your load has been picked up" or "no, we'll have to grab it on Monday"? We're a carrier and not a broker but we run into the same type of attitude all the time too.

I suppose she was double brokering them but had no idea how hard Twic cards to come by.
Just my opinion.

We deal with Jaguar Transport on a regular basis, however I deal with Luc and he provides us with good service.
We did deal on a load with Nadia in the past and I can say our experience was very much like yours, I just avoid her at all costs now and deal directly with Luc or Alain.

Same thing as moose.
I have been dealing with Luc and Alain for years without any issues but with Nadia , that's a different story...

Just for a follow up - Alain called me on a posting I have from GA to QC flat bed - told him the whole story as why I'm not really willing in trying Jaguar's service again.
He took my comments very seriously and he looked like he was about to burst.
I was pretty impressed he took the time to listen to me and hear my comments that seriously.
Might hear back from him in a near future, we never know. If so, I will definitely let everyone knows.

I too dealt with Nadia and truly believe my load was double brokered. She lied 4 different times about delivery eta and finally gave up on me and gave me the driver cell number to call him direct. I don't like bothering drivers but tried the number and it was disconnected. The second number went unanswered. I will never use them again.

Just to add to you pain.
I used them in February, to give them another chance with another guy - Serge.
long story kinda short - Delivery was on a Saturday and was paid for on the rate I gave them.
Instead of have a driver coming in on a saturday do so a live unload, I asked him, by email, if he would like to drop on friday instead ( secured yard, people there 24hrs ) and that trailer will be ready on monday.
Said yes ( that was confirm on thursday, by email )
Called me on friday when driver is on site asking why he has to drop, that I don't have to decide what HIS drivers are doing.
Was kinda baffled as it was confirmed by email and he did confirm back. Started yelling more and asking more money.
I'm not proud at all as I never did that in my career but I kinda raised the voice also and told him he confirmed everything by email and all was good, that he doesn't have to call me with his attitude problem and get laid if that's what his problem. Told him I will give him and extra 100$ for the drop just so he get lost and never calls me again.
He sent an email back saying sorry about my attitude, I'm having a rough day..
Guess who's back on the DNU list and will stay there for freaking ever???
