We stopped dealing with any new company from Quebec about 4 years ago and our bad debt is alomost nill since doing so. Where as our worst year before that almost 70g's.

D.G. Transport is going around to alot of carriers, offering loads to the U.S. for decent amounts of coin. I know the load they offered us turned out to be a load of pumpkins from London area to Florida. They sent over all the paperwork for you to fill out regarding W-9 and W-8ben but never sent a load sheet and never called to check on the load. Sounds fishy. I know All-Loads and a few other companies have been approached by them as well, however they are not on Load Link.

Do these guys have any trucks? We just gave them a load for next week from Windsor to Vancouver area for a team.

Ourselves and anyone else we have spoke to that have been approached by this company have no information on them besides they are out of Lavalle QC, Blv Des Laurenides Suite A.

they just did a load for us from toronto to bay city oregon,no problems,but we felt the same as you all do,

Don't know if it's the same company, but I did see a Transport DG tractor/trailer on the 401 between Toronto and Montreal last Friday

There is 2 different DG's There is DG Transport small O/O with 3 trucks (roll tights) very good fellow and DG Express out of Becancour QC which I never dealt with so no comment there

Internet Truckstop posted an alert on Nov 20th stating they have "a report that a load was booked to 9031-4808 Quebec Inc dba DG Transport MC# 315865 DOT# 677029 of Laval QC. The load was re-brokered for more money than they were to receive."

I can't believe these guys and others that do this, it's too bad that on every BOL for every shipment, the broker is named on the BOL and carrier as well.
Government Registrar shows them as DG Transport/ DG Recyclage and GD Recyclage .
There was a recent change to the ownership on september 03-2008. Owner shows as " Stanislav Goustov" however he may be the old owner, and may or may not be affiliated.
Although this may have nothing to do with the above company, here is how a transport scam works. Someone will take over a company that has been around for some time (so the credit looks good) usually from someone who has been struggling and or fed up. they run under that name offering good paying freight which of course is double brokered and not paid out, the run for a few months untill the gig is up, usually taking hundreds of thousands of dollars..of which they use for the next purchase and the scam continiues...and so far even when reported legal agencies can't seem to a dam thing about it!

Get there phone number blocked, they must be on the link as someone else or something, or working together with another company.
