The wording is unclear, but since this is coming from Powerlease, I’d assume it’s about getting drivers into never-never leases and having them operate as O/O. After the Pride debacle, everyone kinda knows these deals are either too good to be true or simply not profitable.

I guess the point is at the end of the day it's some sketchy scheme that's just going to screw anyone that tries to take advantage of it. Shame on Truck News is what i'm saying.
 
Sounds like Power Lease trying to make money not only on power units, trailers and cars, but on steering wheel holders as well, by calling it a fancy-shmancy name as a driver lease..
Most of us call it a never never plan or a fleece purchase lol. Guy down this way has made a lot of money doing it and always seems to get suckers to sign up. As of say 8 years ago only 5 trucks he ever had to sign over.(that came out of the 5th guys mouth to me) Probably about 8 now.
