It's been a long time since I have contributed anything on here but something has caught my eye lately.

There has been a lot of freight on loadlink posted by TLX. A few things have me a little hesitant to book freight with them.

1/ I have never heard of them
II/ Sudden freight with no prior history
III/ When I decided to call X501 at TLX on a posted IL load - landed in a voicemail recording with a voice I can't put a name to but that I have heard before. And it's bilingual, English and French. I don't know too many bilingual New Yorkers and this has me a little concerned considering when calling this company there is that distinctive vonage/or Voice IP sound.

Anyone that took a hit a few years back on some Montreal brokers may understand my concerns. I may be a little overly concerned but ya never know!

Anyone have anything on them?

I have heard the name before. They have multiple offices but really what's going on is they have headquarters in Delaware (probably for tax purposes but who knows) and offices in New York and Montreal. I think the meat of what they do actually is in Montreal, brokering produce loads to Montreal and the Hunts Point market (maybe Toronto too but I don't know).

I do think they're legit though.
