Titan Transline Waterdown Ontario

Good ole Marty; back to tricks I see.
I haven't taken any business from Titan but I have given them a few shipments here and there. Service was good to average.
What I can say though, those trailers are looking nicer and nicer every time I see them on the roads.

I actually heard back from Marty after I threatened contact with his customer today.

He gave me his word that a cheque would be ready for me to pickup on Monday.

I've never heard of this company or Marty... Should I be more concerned?

July 6 you will probably be ok if he gave you his word. I'd hate to be one of the the guys who will be hitting 60 days in August though. 10ish years ago when the market collapsed some people decided it was a good time to pad a bankruptcy and jump ship. Hopefully we can avoid those people this time around with our updated technologies. Having said that Freight Fox got me but they seem to be the only one. I take small comfort that I was on to them before they vanished and advised the group and their customer early.

freight fox customer is refusing to pay us they they have already paid them. even showed us when it was cashed.
 
I'm pleased to report that Marty kept his word, and I sent in Fedex to pickup the cheque yesterday. I received it today.

Payment received 92 days from invoice date.

interesting.....apparently, their ap is on vacation again, won't be back until late August??? I want their job

We did 2 loads for them this year.

One was paid in 92 days, the other in 102 days. We also had to follow up on them a fair bit and heard a lot of bullshit about how "cheques in the mail, accounting personnel are on vacation", that sort of stuff. Usual stalling tactics.

Wouldn't be keen on taking more freight from them in the future unless I was in a pinch.
