Thunder Bay, Ont., enforces new truck route Oct. 1

Ya, so.
The reality is this:

Both Dawson and the Harbour Expressway are 1 lane in each direction so both kinda suck for trucks. Dawson has been the truck route forever. Funny how people that have bought a house and lived on a road that is designated a truck route can bitch and complain long enough that eventually someone will listen. It's good for those people's property values, but nothing more.

Arthur as a truck route is crazy, low limits, single lane both ways as soon as you pass the Timmies and residential/commercial mix before that.

None of this affects me personally except that the accidents/road closures will be on the Expressway rather than Dawson.

Don't let me get started on Sistonens Corners. The planning for that area was done by someone with very few brain cells. Your drivers will all tell you how stupid that area is.
