TFI International Acquires Normandin Transit

Acquisition strengthens TFI’s cross-border Less-Than-Truckload and Truckload services
Montreal, Quebec, April 3, 2018 – TFI International Inc. (TSX: TFII; OTCQX: TFIFF), a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, today announced that a wholly-owned subsidiary of TFI International has acquired Normandin Transit Inc. (“Normandin”). Based in Napierville, Quebec, Normandin has grown rapidly since its founding in 1988 by focusing on the transportation of less-than-truckload and full truckload freight shipments to and from any U.S. or Canadian destination. Normandin operates a young fleet of over 300 tractors and 1,000 trailers.
Normandin will continue to be led by Danielle and André Normandin and will operate as a standalone business unit within TFI’s Less-Than-Truckload operating segment. “Danielle and André have built an impressive company. I've never connected much with Normandin... but the few times I have it's easy to tell they are a class act.

I connected once with them.. first week in business way back in 2002. They wouldn't extend me any credit. Had to use one of their lessor known competitors who I've happily done hundreds of thousands of dollars in business with over the years..Ironically TFI was one of the first to extend credit to me.
