Does anyone know anything about Taj Freight Systems, 28 Great Plains St, Brampton. Owner is Harwinder (Harry)Khangura? We gave them a load Thursday and they picked up but since Thursday we cannot get through to them. Phone goes straight to voicemail. Their package is completely legal and their insurance is up to date.
Went to the address yesterday and its a house with a sign out front that says Taj Construction. Women answered the door gave us a cell # then would not talk anymore. Surprise, Surprise the cell # goes straight to voicemail! Spoke to a couple of other carriers and they have them on do not use for the exact same reason, freight and employees goe MIA for days on end.
And to think that this company is competition!!! How are they still in business?
If anyone knows anything at all please help!!!
 
That site charges a 200$ fee of becoming a member, I bet they took after this site.

Good luck. we had the same issue and they are a "BLACK LISTED" carrier for us. The load was delivered, late of course. They may be cheap but it is not worth the head ace.
 
I can't get in touch with Taj and I have overdue invoice for fr 120 days. I can't find this guy. Anyone have any info?
 
This is what happens when you deal with Owner Operators that think they can run a trucking company. No wonder reputable carriers and brokers have ongoing issues. As a broker how would you feel if your employees / contractors quit and started up shop hitting all your customers and cutting all your rates.
 
The truck finally showed up with the load. Harry still has not bothered to call us. We even faxed him advising of a rate reduction just to get a response from him and nothing. Turns out he has call display and does not anwser if he does not know who is calling or if he is avoiding someone and that line does not accept calls from blocked numbers....go figure!!!
