T Van Transport

I have used them three times. They have had two breakdowns during the three moves- once they still did service and once they could not service once booked.
My gut tells me that they take freight and perhaps "breakdown" if better freight is available.

We used them twice, first time all went well, 2nd time we used them tried to trace the pick-up from afternoon of pick-up day to next morning. Had to *67 them got some woman who said Tony's wife was in the hospital. 15 minutes later Tony's wife called me to say she was in the hospital and wasn't able to contact us that they had to cancel. Still not sure what happen to Tony but the whole story seemed very strange. Don't think I would use again.

We used them once at the end of August. It was a partial flatbed that was supposed to deliver to Chicago the next day. It took two days as Cheryl there said they lost the other half load, which is fine and understandable but we did put a mark against them for not letting us know this until we had to call the next day to find out where the freight was. We normally wouldn't add someone to our DNU list as things happen and we like to give a 2nd chance but these issues seem a little too regular.

Here is an update on T-Van Transport. My girls in the office didn't check this great web site prior to booking freight with Cheryl at T-Van. They have learned from this mistake. What seemed to be a very simple conversation with Cheryl and one of my staff turned into a vindictive, childish temper tantrum. She picked up the freight a day early, which worked out because they got it ready. Problem then was she attempted to deliver a day earlier. The consignee was not suppose to be open. Long story short it did deliver but Cheryl refused to let us know that. We finally got a hold of the consignee who confirmed. I tried to get this information from Cheryl several times and she just refused to answer. I had to *67 her in order for her to pick up.
Zero on customer service but did get points for getting it delivered. On the DNU list. Use at your own risk.
